A List of Best Methods To Remove Hair Dye From The Carpet:

Ammonia Solution:- Ammonia is very effective in removing tough stains. Mix 2 cups of warm water with 1 teaspoon of dish soap and 15ml of ammonia in a bowl. Mix them well. Dip a white cloth into the solution and clean the affected area with it. Press the cloth into the spot for few seconds until the entire area is covered. Leave it untouched for 40 minutes. After that dip another clean cloth into the solution and keep pressing it. Keep it over the surface area for 10 minutes. After the removal of stains, use a vacuum to dry the carpet. Wait for 24 hours so that it gets dried up.

Use Hydrogen Peroxide:- Take 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide and pour it on the stain. If your hands are not stable, then you can pour it with the help of eyedropper. Hydrogen peroxide is generally seen as the last resort due to the risk it carries of decolorizing the carpet. Leave the Hydrogen Peroxide on the carpet untouched for 24 hours. Once the period is over, blot it with water. After that wet a sponge with cool water and press it down for a few minutes. Allow it to dry and your problem is fixed.

Alcohol-Soap Combo:- Take a bowl. Add 2 cups of lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing soap and 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Dip a clean white cloth into the solution. Press it into the stain but avoid rubbing it. Once the solution is applied, blot the affected area with a dry cloth. Apply a cleaning solution and blot it with a dry cloth simultaneously. Keep doing it until the stain caused by hair dye vanish. After removing the stain, clean the area with a microsponge. Apply vacuum to dry the carpet. Conclude the process by pouring alcohol on the spot, blot it with a dry cloth.

Baby Shampoo and Hairspray:- Spray Hairspray on the stain. Keep it untouched for a few minutes. Take an astringent solution and pour it on the stain. After that, rub the area and rinse it with water with a clean cloth. As the area is wet, put two drops of baby shampoo on it. Press and dab the area gently, you can use a sponge here and wash it off.
